Well GFXTrap first came to light in 2004 with Johnny starting it off producing some sigs along with a couple of other people. Then mid 2005 Saint-Michael (that’s me) entered into the sig design and started mass producing them at 10-15 a week using fireworks until he moved on to adobe. Then the Sig Crazed started when more and more members started to join in and those are the staff members that you see on this site. Once Johnny became admin in 2005, the GFXTrap forums would begin materializing into show off forum, SOTW forum and the first tournament as well. Then between Johnny and Saint-Michael they help taught some of the staff and current members designing sigs and brain-storming ideas to get the forums to grow in the GFX design.

Soon GFXTrap expanded into tutorials, renders, brushes and other resources as well, helping out the new breed of designers as well. Then BuffaloHELP would come up with the idea of requesting a sig forum and with fine tuning with some of the staff it has become a popular place to request a sig from a staff member or someone on the site. Then late 2005 BuffaloHELP and Saint-Michael started talking about branching off the forums due to mass popularity to it and other things as well. Once OpaQue agreed to it, a poll was done on the forums and thus GFXTrap.com: Trapped in a world of GFX was born. During the polling of the new website Saint-Michael would come up with the Slogan to the Site as well. "Trapped in a World of GFX".

So with the New Year coming around Saint-Michael started editing the new site with an easier format for the people to use.
